Works are now well underway on the construction of a new drive-thru facility on London Road in Carlisle, with Cubby Construction delivering the associated groundworks, drainage, highways and external works.

The project will progress through the installation of roadways, paving, tactile paving, lighting, bollards, barriers and fencing, alongside landscaping and final surfacing before completion and handover.

This project is a multistage programme that combines groundworks, civil engineering and external infrastructure.

The Cubby Construction team came together to support Wear It Pink, raising awareness and funds for an important cause.

Thanks to everyone who took part, we have raised over £150 so far through donations and our bake sale, with all proceeds going towards vital breast cancer research and care.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved. From bright pink outfits to a delicious selection of homemade bakes, the effort across the business was brilliant.

The enthusiasm, creativity and support shown by colleagues helped make the event a great success, demonstrating once again the strong team spirit that exists across the business.

We were proud to sponsor a colour block at the Oak Tree Animals' Charity 5K Colour Fun Run, supporting a cause that means a lot to the community.

Our team had plenty of fun getting involved, with colleagues from Cubby Construction and taking on the 5K. Well done to Scott, Mark, Chris and Lynne for getting stuck in. We certainly enjoyed covering them in paint as they ran past our colour station!

We also took along two very important members of the Cubby team, Bailey and Colin, who entered the dog show. Colin came away with the ‘Fab Fella’ title before going on to be runner-up in ‘Best in Show’. Not a bad day out for a Cubby dog!

A big thank you to Oak Tree Animal Charity for organising the event and to everyone who took part.

It was great to see so many people coming together to support Oak Tree Animals and raise money for such a worthy local cause.

It’s been a fantastic and very busy day for the Cubby Construction team at Annan Harbour, and we’ll be sharing a full event report soon.

But there’s no slowing down just yet!

Tomorrow we’re back out in the community as proud sponsors of the Oak Tree Animals’ Charity Colour Run Fun at Carlisle Racecourse. 🌈🐾

A huge thank you to all of our brilliant team members who have volunteered their time to support us across both events this weekend. Days like today, and events like tomorrow’s, simply wouldn’t be possible without their help, enthusiasm and support.
