Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join GC Engineering. We are looking for experienced design engineers to join our team.
We are a Carlisle based engineering business specialising in Design Engineering, Project Management & 3D scanning using the latest FARO laser scanning equipment.
Primarily based at our office in Carlisle, with travel to customer premises throughout the UK as and when required. 40 hours per week, full time, permanent role with overtime regularly available.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience;
• Proficient in 2D & 3D design using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor or similar software packages.
• Sound knowledge of engineering principles
• Formal engineering qualification to at least HNC or equivalent in an Electrical, Mechanical or Controls discipline with corresponding practical experience.
• Ability to clearly understand engineering drawings, symbols and notation.
• Strong numeric and literacy skills.
• Excellent problem solving, data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• PC literacy with extensive experience of Microsoft Office.
