The Bit Nobody Sees
Some of our best work is the work you'll never see.
Last week our team was on site at the Kelpies, installing a new septic tank for the visitor facilities. Thousands of people walk past that spot every week on their way to the sculptures — and not one of them will ever look at what's underneath the gravel.
That's rather the point.
When you're working on a site like this, there's no option to close for a fortnight. The toilets stay open, the visitors keep coming, and the job gets done around them: excavation, tank set and bedded in concrete, pipework connected, surface reinstated. Finished and tidied before the rain came on properly.
New tank in. Facilities back on. Nothing to see here — exactly as it should be.
