🌱 Powering a more sustainable future at Crabtree Farm, Lupton ☀️

We’re pleased to share that solar panels have now been installed at our clinic at Crabtree Farm, Lupton. The Crabtree farming policy is driven by an ambition to farm commercially in an environmentally sustainable way.

These panels will generate approximately 85 - 90kW across the clinic, stables, and farm buildings, significantly reducing our reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

As an equine practice, caring for horses goes hand in hand with caring for the environment they live in. Tapping into renewable energy is just one of the ways we’re working to:
• reduce our carbon footprint
• support sustainable rural practices
• build a greener future for equine care

We’re proud to be collaborating with the farm on this project and taking a positive step toward more environmentally responsible operations for both businesses.

Fully Qualified Electrician for Solar PV

Due to rapid growth, we are looking to recruit a fully Qualified Electrician.
You will be working throughout the UK as part of a team installing Solar Technology for both Commercial and Domestic customers. Routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on existing Solar arrays may also be required.

The Role:

• Installation of Domestic and Commercial Solar Systems including Ground mounts

• Covering mainly the North West but could be required to work away from time to time ( renumeration package will be included)

• Ensuring that work complies with electrical and building regulations

• Connecting Solar panels and Inverters and other equipment to the building’s power supply

• Repairing or replacing PV-related wiring, equipment, and fixtures

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures

• Testing PV electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure compatibility and safety

• Planning layout and installation of PV-related electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes

Candidate Requirements / Qualifications:
• Electrical experience: 3 years (desirable, not essential)
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (B&S) (essential)
• Experienced in Solar PV installation (desirable, not essential)
• 18th Edition desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Highly motivated
• Strong work ethic
• Works well as an individual/ part of a team
• Adheres to strict health and safety guidelines

Rate of pay is dependent on both experience and qualifications. (Certificates will be required)

Works vehicle to be provided post trial period.
