Chimney rebuild in sporle

Strip and re-tile done using 1f felt as bats were spotted in the survey for this holkham estate property. Everything stripped back to replace with new including the lead on the parapets which was the main cause for water ingress. Full strip and re-tile on an old roof 🏡
The existing roof was fully stripped, with new breathable felt and treated battens installed throughout. Due to moss damage, a significant number of make-up tiles were required. This complete re-tile has restored the roof’s performance and appearance, bringing it back to life! Strip and re-tile done in Narborough with new Redland Grovebury tiles. Dry ridge system fitted and new lead around chimney. To what was an old mossy roof has now been revitalised to a much newer and cleaner roof for a family home.
