We are thrilled to take this opportunity to celebrate our exceptional Sigma colleagues who recently completed a 21-mile walk as part of the Sigma Sports Tour. Their determination and teamwork not only showcased their physical endurance but also resulted in raising over £1,200 for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation – a truly commendable achievement! This event would not have been possible without the organisation from Ben Ward, who set up the charity event and pushed colleagues through each mile to reach the finish line.
Walking over 21 miles is no easy task. It requires not only physical stamina but also mental fortitude, commitment, and a shared sense of purpose. Our Sigma team displayed these qualities in abundance as they took on this challenge together. Each step they took was motivated by a desire to contribute to a noble cause, helping to create awareness and support for individuals and families affected by MND.
The £1,200 raised is a significant contribution that will provide vital resources for the Darby Rimmer MND charity. These funds will go a long way in assisting those impacted by motor neuron disease, helping them access necessary care, support services, and research initiatives. It’s heartwarming to see our Sigma colleagues come together to make such a positive difference in the community. Colleagues encouraged one another, celebrated milestones, and shared in the experience, building lasting bonds along the way.
We also want to extend our gratitude to everyone who supported the initiative, whether through donations, cheering on your fellow colleagues, or spreading the word about the cause.
Congratulations once again to all who participated in the Sigma Sports Tour! Your hard work, resilience, and commitment to raising awareness and funds for the Darby Rimmer MND charity have made a meaningful difference.
