The client explained that the original step height was too deep, so after exploring several design options together, we settled on a final solution that balanced safety, comfort, and style. The new steps were custom made using Indian stone paving, creating a durable and attractive finish that fits perfectly with the surrounding space. It was a pleasure to take on this meaningful project, restoring a memorial plaque that has been part of one of the many beautiful walking routes around the Yorkshire Dales for over 20 years. We carefully cleaned and polished the stone to bring it back to life, preserving its character while restoring its original appearance.
