A casting's journey doesn't end when it leaves the mould. ⬇️

There's still work to be done - including grinding.

Grinding helps remove excess material, smooth surfaces and clean up burrs, ensuring each casting is finished to the highest standard and ready to perform in its final application.

Large castings? No probs. 👍

We’re equipped with overhead crane handling throughout the foundry, allowing us to safely move and manage castings up to 2,000kg between core making, moulding, pouring and finishing.

Currently producing a batch of diesel cylinder heads for a customer, cast in compacted graphite iron (CGI). 💪

These come with a fairly involved core assembly, produced in-house using our Amine Cold Box process, which helps us keep the accuracy and repeatability needed for this type of component.
