Cranbrook | New Build Complete

A look around our completed new-build project in Cranbrook.

From the initial construction through to the final finishes, the property has been built and finished throughout, with the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, decoration and internal detailing now complete.

The difference is in how the house works as a whole.

The kitchen opens directly into the main living space, the finishes are consistent throughout, and the upstairs rooms have been kept clean and simple.

Rainham | Roof Structure Progress

The roof structure is really starting to come together in Rainham.

With the upper floor formed, the timber roof is now being built out across the development, tying the different sections together and giving the building its final shape.

There is a lot going on at this stage.

🔨 Decking and supporting timbers continuing as the roof develops

This is one of those stages where getting the setting out right matters everywhere.

A small error here follows you into the roof covering, insulation, ceilings and finishes later.

So the focus stays the same.

Get the structure right.

Check the junctions.

Then keep moving.

TOOLBOX TIP #36 | Foundations start with the dig

Before any concrete goes in, the excavation has to be right.

Depth, width and ground conditions all matter.

Dig to the correct level.

Check the trench.

Make sure the base is suitable before the pour.

You only get one chance to get the foundation underneath the building right.

Tunbridge Wells – Wall Build-Up Progress 🧱

Another stage taking shape in Tunbridge Wells as the external wall construction continues.

Brickwork progressing.

Blockwork rising alongside it.

Cavity maintained through the build-up.

Insulation and wall ties coordinated as the walls move up.

This is one of those stages where the finished result is still a way off, but the quality of what comes next depends heavily on getting this part right.

Lines need to stay true.

Cavities need to stay clear.

Openings need to remain accurate.

And the structure needs to keep progressing in the right sequence.

Nothing clever.

Just the basics done properly before the next stage begins.

Maidstone – New Site Underway 🏗️

We’ve started on a new project in Maidstone.

The first stages have been focused on excavation, foundations and opening up the existing structure ready for the new works.

Outside, the footing trenches have been dug and concrete works are underway.

Inside, areas have been opened up and temporarily supported while we prepare for the structural alterations.

A lot of this stage gets buried or covered up later, but it sets up everything that comes next.

Maidstone – Third Floor Progress 🧱

The third floor is continuing to take shape in Maidstone, with the internal blockwork and external brickwork now defining the layout much more clearly.

This is one of those stages where the drawings start becoming actual rooms.

Walls are being built up, openings are being formed and the cavity construction is developing around the perimeter as the floor progresses.

At this stage, sequencing matters.

The masonry, insulation, openings and wall positions all need to work together now so that the next stages can follow without unnecessary adjustment later.

On site:

🧱 Internal blockwork progressing across the third floor

🏗️ External brickwork continuing around the perimeter

🪨 Cavity insulation being incorporated as the walls rise

📐 Openings and room layouts being formed to the planned positions

🔗 Wall ties and cavity construction progressing alongside the masonry

🚧 Scaffold access retained around the working areas

📏 Levels, lines and junctions being checked as each section develops

This stage is about getting the shell right before moving on.

Get the walls in the right place.

Keep the build-up consistent.

Check the junctions as you go.

Then everything that follows has a proper base to work from.

Nothing complicated. Just steady progress and getting the fundamentals right.
