Havent posted for a while, which is a good thing in a way as it means we have been busy 😁

Customer needed a new boiler a few weeks back, so heres the upgrade they received 😎

10 year guarentee secured with the boiler as well, win win all round 💪🏼

To think that a leaking rad valve caused all of this destruction 😱 💦

The house had been sold with no one living in it for a while... in that time all this happened. Its an open vented system, over time the valve was constantly leaking running down the back of the pipe and through the floor and then eventually bringing the ceiling down. The F&E tank was continuously filling with fresh water which was then just pouring out downstairs... house = ruined 😔

Have isolated the pipes for now to that 1 radiator to make sure that it isnt leaking from elsewhere, then once its all dried out a bit everywhere we will be back to make some repairs 🔧

Had a call to attend to a boiler losing pressure every few days causing no heating or hot water. Turned out to have a leak on the boilers Auto Air Vent (AAV), and the expansion vessel needed to be recharged as had no charge in it what so ever. Once this was all done, boiler was back up and working. Another happy customer 😁. Starting out on your own isnt easy but slowly building up your own customers base definately is a good feeling 💪

-Boiler was a 30 Si combi boiler.

A simple lockshield radiator valve swap. Previous one had been snapped shut by a plasterer who took the radiator off to plaster behind it.... so we had to come in and sort the problem out 💪

One of our jobs today was a new set of bath taps, a like for like replacement, along with new a silicone bead around the bath 🛁💧

Had a call to a leaking stopcock 💦 that an emergency plumber had temporarily fixed which had continued to leak.

Found a hairline crack in the plastic nut which was causing the leak so replaced it with a brand new brass stopcock. No more leak= happy customer 😁

Made the best of a bad situation 🛁🚽🚿

Received a phone call after seeing a FB post that I commented on regarding this bathroom (look at the before pictures). An apparant plumber had taken the job on, started it, bodged it, took money from the customer and then blocked them on everything, gone in the wind 😑

I attended to look at what needed doing/re-doing, Agreed a price with the customer and got it complete for them within a 2 day period. This family had been without a working bathroom for 2 weeks, im just glad to of been able to help this family out and get them back on track. Splash back still needs doing and then some decorating but other than that, they now have a working bathroom once again.

New Pop up bath waste and
Q10 bath trap ✅️ 🛁

Had a message late last night about a leaking bath waste, asked for a couple of pictures and a video so I could see the problem. Collected the parts this morning and then after the days booked in jobs I popped round to sort the problem out for another new customer 😁

Tested the newly installed waste and overflow after fitting to make sure its all water tight and had no leaks 😎
