Security Bollards Supplied & Fitted – Salvation Army, Chelmsford

We recently completed the supply and installation of three new security bollards at the Salvation Army in Chelmsford.

The works were carried out to help protect and reserve designated parking spaces for staff, preventing unauthorised vehicles from using the allocated areas and ensuring the spaces remain available when required.

The installation included the supply of heavy-duty security bollards, accurate positioning, ground preparation, and secure fitting to provide a neat, practical, and long-lasting solution.
The completed installation improves site control, reduces parking issues, and provides peace of mind for staff and visitors using the facility.

Another successful project completed with a focus on quality workmanship, security, and customer satisfaction.

Landscaping project well underway in South Woodham Ferrers!

The swim spa is finally in place, which means we can now push on with the rest of this fantastic garden transformation.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be adding to the patio area, new lawn, garden room, and bespoke decking area surrounding the swim spa to create the perfect outdoor living space.

Looking forward to sharing more progress photos as this project comes together! 👌

Another fantastic project completed!

We have supplied and fitted premium Millboard cladding with all relevant trims to this stunning orangery and beautiful home, creating a sleek modern finish throughout. We also sanded back and repainted the existing timber bifolding doors and cornice to perfectly tie everything together.

What a transformation — an absolutely beautiful finish from start to end.

We are underway!

New project commencing in south Woodham Ferrers.

This new project will see a transformation to include the removal of an existing conservatory, making way for a stunning single-storey extension designed to be used comfortably all year round ❄️☀️

The project will also feature:
🔨 A full knock-through into the existing house
🍽️ A brand new kitchen installation
🌿 Fresh patio works to complete the outdoor space

We’re looking forward to bringing this vision to life and sharing the progress with you along the way—keep an eye out for updates!

New recruit at Essex Home Improvements 👷‍♀️

This morning we welcomed our newest (and smallest) team member into the office.

After a serious discussion about wanting a new toy, she decided the only fair way to get one was to earn her keep… so naturally she came straight to the office desk to get started.

So far her responsibilities include:• Supervising the laptop 💻• Randomly pressing important looking buttons• Holding the pen during meetings ✍️• Keeping morale high with smiles

We’re not sure how much actual work has been done yet… but the enthusiasm is definitely there.

Safe to say the future of Essex Home Improvements is looking very bright.

Now we just need to see if her wages stretch to that toy!
