Take a look at our latest install in Brentwood.

This customer opted to maximise the potential from his roof space by having 26 x AIKO 465W panels, giving him a total of just over 12kW of power in total. This included bird meshing to stop birds nesting under the panels, potentially causing damage to the cabling underneath.

We coupled this with a FOX KH8 Storage Inverter, along with the new FOX EP12 Battery, giving him 11.52kW of storage for any excess solar.

Maintenance and Clean completed today for one of our old installs today. Your panels are only as good as your dirtiest panels. Dirt, bird mess and Lichen can all significantly affect production. Luckily, this install had optimisers meaning the one really dirty panel here didn’t bring the whole system down. Are yours in need of a clean? First up, is the all new SolarEdge Technologies Inc. Home Battery Backup Interface. This automatically cuts in in the event of a power cut, and allows the home to be run off the solar and battery.

The customer is given a notice via the Solar Edge Monitoring app that the home is running on battery power, so they can limit their electricity usage to prolong the battery life.

Safe to say our electrician Tony is a fan of Solar Edge, we must say we agree with him. Products and Customer Services are second to none.

This new-build home required 1KW of PV solar to pass building regulations, so we went with 4 x Viridian Solar 270W Clearline panels. Viridian Solar is an ideal choice of panel for this type of project, as their enhanced appearance really compliments the aesthetics of a new-build property.
