🎣 Another fantastic MACL Fishathon!

This weekend saw us return to Crowsheath Fisheries in Billericay for our 6th MACL Fishathon, bringing colleagues, friends and supporters together for a brilliant weekend - all while raising money for a fantastic cause.

Held from 4th-6th September, the event welcomed 45 people, with plenty of fish caught and, most importantly, lots of money raised in support of Lighthouse Charity which provides vital emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the weekend and donated. Your generosity is hugely appreciated and helps the Lighthouse Charity continue its important work.
There’s still time to support our fundraising if you’d like to make a donation:

Congratulations to four of our apprentices who have successfully completed their Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeships and have now been promoted to permanent Groundworker roles with MACL.

👏 A huge well done to Ethan Parsley, Luke Keyworth, Tyla Grant and Sonny Booker, who officially joined our Groundworks team on permanent contracts from 29 June 2026.

Their achievement is the result of months of hard work, commitment and a willingness to learn on site. From day one, each has demonstrated the attitude and determination needed to build a successful career in the construction industry.

Supporting apprentices is an important part of MACL's commitment to developing the next generation of skilled construction professionals. We're proud to see our apprentices progress into permanent roles and look forward to watching their careers continue to grow with us.

Congratulations to Ethan, Luke, Tyla and Sonny on this fantastic milestone – we're delighted to have you as permanent members of the MACL team.
