Lincolnshire County Council Innovation Day ✨ This week we were pleased to join Lincolnshire County Council’s Innovation Day to share how our stage-based signalling technology helps de-risk roadworks and improve on-site safety.

Attendees heard how Evo1 and Metro temporary signals support safer, more efficient temporary traffic management, and were also able to step inside our command van for a live demonstration from our Professional Services team. 🚦🚚

It was a valuable opportunity to bring our solutions directly to the authority, especially for those who may not be able to attend industry exhibitions.

Planning your own innovation day or looking to explore new approaches to temporary signalling? Please contact Tom Miles to discuss how we can support your event.

During his Tech Talk, Will walked through a real-world project and the solution we implemented, one that not only significantly improved safety for all road users, but also delivered measurable efficiency gains on site.

The session highlighted how smarter traffic management design can reduce risk, improve outcomes, and create safer environments for everyone.

We enjoyed the opportunity to showcase practical examples of innovation making a real impact across the industry.

🙋🏼‍♂️ Road users don’t complete feedback forms on roadworks.

Instead, there are other indicators that something in your set-up isn’t quite right:

🔴 Red light infringements
🤬 Road worker abuse
🚷 Pedestrians crossing when they shouldn’t
💬 Complaints to the Highway Authority
💥 Congestion, blocked shuttles and collisions

All of the above could be a sign that your traffic signals are causing unnecessary delays or raising the risk profile of your road works.

Our designed-in safety approach mitigates these risks by identifying issues up front and producing a signal scheme that improves safety and efficiency for all road users. This approach supports active travel and creates safer working environments.
