When mixing woodland and pasture, such as in the creation of parkland it is vital that newly planted trees are properly protected from deer and livestock. We have been manufacturing tree guards for years and have developed a catalogue of existing designs, alongside this we also have the ability to make to your design or specification.
As shown in this photograph our bare metal tree guards oxidise quickly and soon blend in with the colours of the landscape. Everything we make is made to order here in the UK.

The beautiful Dutch garden in Holland Park. Looking at its best this morning with the tulips in full bloom.
Originally designed by the third Lord Holland's Portuguese librarian, Buonauiti the garden comprises of a number of geometrically shaped borders. Hence it was previously known as the Portuguese Garden. The name was changed to the Dutch Garden when, for political reasons, the Portuguese fell out of favour.

Our traditional estate fencing is available in either bare metal or painted finish. When it comes to paint, we offer all RAL colours, the relatively new tradition of using black being the most popular.
Black estate fencing only really became popular about 100 years ago with the advent of new technology and more readily available quick drying pigments. Prior to that blue and green were the popular colour choice for estates and country homes.
Bare metal is as it sounds, the steel is left bare after installation and allowed oxidise naturally, the metal goes through an almost constant colour transition. The example shown is around 18 months since installation. For more information on this check out the fencing finishes section on the website.

Over the past 12 months or so the appreciation and demand for outdoor space has soared, especially here in the UK where it is already such a limited resource. As many more people have turned their attention to their gardens the demand for all kinds of garden products has also seen a huge rise.
There is a broad application for metalwork in Gardens, it provides an opportunity to create everything from plant supports to rose arches and polytunnels in a bespoke fashion. It has many other benefits as well, not least its longevity and ability to apply a variety of finishes.
Over the years we have produced a wide range of garden products for clients throughout the UK.
Check out this contemporary fruit cage we produced for a client in Gloucestershire.

Check out this run of our estate fencing finished in cream. A far cry from the traditional black which has become the go-to colour for those looking for a painted finish. The cream really sets the fencing apart from the landscape and lifts the eye from the line of the ground. Often lighter coloured finishes are popular when boarding more well-kept areas of gardens or parkland or areas near to buildings.
For those looking for a painted finish we provide the same primed and painted finish in all RAL colours. Head to our website for more information.

A great example of our handmade quadrants in conjunction with our estate fencing. Aesthetically the addition of a quadrant at the beginning or end of a fence line can be especially effective when on flat or open ground, acting as a way of introducing the line of fence to the eye.
They also provide practical barriers when defining boundaries both for people and livestock.

A run of estate fencing to surround a tree is a great alternative to a tree guard. This beautifully proportioned horse chestnut is well protected from grazing livestock and looks fantastic in this parkland landscape, in all seasons!
