This 1978 Grumman Tiger came into us at Ardent Paint Care in quite a tired condition.
There was a hell of a lot of work went into it involving many hours of prep, involving chemically stripping the whole body then filling and repairing dozens of dents, nicks and scratches etc. The end result is superb and a credit to the firm.

We have now finished painting BHYR and about to finish fitting control surfaces before she returns to the skies. Unfortunately, after a minor accident (nothing to do with Ardent) the wing leading edge,some ribs, upper and lower skins needed to be changed. We are really pleased with the care and attention this job got from the team lead by Stuart Ruck at Aeros maintenance here at Staverton. Engineering second to non, Stuart and Joe made the majority of the tools and jigs to make this job possible and with absolute precision the wing is perfect, we primed the inside faces of the skins before fitting to make sure that this restoration was as good as it could possibly be. Thanks again to all involved and of course our team for working hard to get this aircraft back to it’s former glory.
