We're looking for a Plant Maintenance/Yard Manager
This is a full-time or part-time role for someone handy and organised to maintain our stores of small and large plant, consumables and electrical tools. They will accept and store deliveries of materials, keeping our storage units, skips and yard clear and orderly. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive hourly rate, job ownership and the security of working in a friendly, long-established team, paid holidays and training as needed.
Responsibilities
• Keeping yard tidy
• Open up yard at 7am for our site teams to get in to get their vans ready (flexible finish time)
• • Manage our library of asset-tagged, company equipment, small repairs, cleaning, repainting etc
• File all certification and records of testing
• Carry out testing of small kit (training available)
• Maintain our smaller items of plant
• Accepting and storing deliveries of materials
• Takes materials to our sites in a company van when requested by site managers
