is nearly over, but with the weekend still to go, some of our Apprentices will still be hard at work earning, and learning Skills for Life as they go.
Since our last post on the subject a few months ago, ISL have added a further half dozen Apprentices to our workforce, and continue to seek new recruits interested in developing a career in the scaffolding industry.
In conjunction with WAH Safety Solutions, our Apprentices complete a week long induction course including CISRS COTS, CCNSG Safety Passport and emergency first aid. Out on site afterwards they will gain experience on a variety of construction sites, with an experienced scaffolder as their mentor. Over the period of the Apprenticeship, further blocks of training are carried out in the training centre leading to a practical skills test and becoming a qualified Scaffolder.
ISL have a strong workload, using both traditional tube and fitting scaffold and Layher system scaffold, and look forward to welcoming new recruits.
