The Moorings at Staveley Town Basin continues to make excellent progress, with strong occupancy levels and growing business interest. Of the eleven units available, all six first-floor offices are now occupied, demonstrating healthy demand for the workspace accommodation. One retail unit has also been let, with a further two retail spaces currently under offer. This positive uptake reflects the appeal of the development and the confidence businesses have in the location and its future potential.

Construction under way at Markham Vale Trade Park.

Litton Properties has started work on the next project in its development pipeline, the 32,000 sq.ft. Markham Vale Trade Park, located at Junction 29A of the M1 and adjoining Markham Services.

Works formally commenced on 24th August setting out and installing foundation bases across the existing development plateau. Steel er****on is now progressing on the first terrace.

The construction contract is being delivered by Litton’s contracting arm with practical completion programmed for April 2027.

The scheme will comprise seven new units ranging from 3,817 to 17,000 sq.ft., with early interest received from a number of prospective occupiers, including national trade operators.

Knight Frank UK Commercial Real Estate, Sheffield and Curson Sowerby Partners, London have been appointed as letting agents.

Development finance is being provided by Paragon Development Finance, with appointments to Jefferson Sheard Architects, Howard Ward Associates Ltd as structural and civil engineers, and WARRINGTON MARTIN as Employer’s Agent.

NOVA Markham Vale Launch Event

NOVA is the new 34-acre industrial and logistics development, strategically located between Sheffield and Nottingham, just one mile from Junction 29A of the M1. Delivered by HBD in partnership with Devonshire Estates, the scheme builds on HBD's long-standing experience in the region, including two decades of work at nearby Markham Vale.

With two high-quality, sustainable units planned (242,000sq ft and 491,000sq ft), NOVA will deliver around 730,000sq ft of much-needed logistics space and support over 700 new jobs.

Designed with sustainability at its core, the scheme targets BREEAM Excellent, incorporates PV panels and EV charging, and includes significant new green infrastructure – from tree planting along the River Doe Lea to improved cycleways and public rights of way through the site.
