WE'RE NEARLY THERE! 🚨🥳

It's just over 2 weeks before our teams head out on an adventure around the Lakes and Highlands, all in aid of raising money for our three chosen charities: Ashgate Hospice, Neuroendocrine UK and HUGs Children's Cancer Charity.💖

We’re looking to grow our installation team and are currently looking for Installation Engineers to join us on projects across the UK.

The role will involve:
🔧 Installing a variety of warehouse pallet racking systems
🛠️ Carrying out repairs and maintenance
📦 Installing shelving and other storage solutions
🚚 Travelling across the UK, Monday–Friday, with regular work away from home

Ideal candidate location: Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire or South Yorkshire.

We’re also looking to onboard new subcontractors to support with some of our larger racking installation projects.

We’re pleased to share that Bangers and Cash is back and we’re proud to be the supporting partners of this year's rally. From 17th – 21st September 2026, three intrepid teams from SDE Group will be taking part in the rally, travelling 950 miles from Chesterfield to Whitby via the Lake District and Scottish Highlands.

We're looking to recruit an Installation Engineer to join our team here at SDE Group! 👷‍♂️

What does the role involve?

As an Installation Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from installing different types of warehouse pallet racking, and carrying out repairs and maintenance, to installing shelving and much more. This job will have you working away Monday - Friday, up and down the UK.

SDE Design Engineering delivered the complete electrical design for Vertu Toyota, Chesterfield. Providing a fully coordinated and compliant solution from concept through to construction.

The scope of works included: power distribution and small power layouts, energy-efficient LED lighting and controls, workshop and service area power design, cable sizing and protection studies, single line diagrams and schematics, selectivity and load assessments, and ongoing construction support.
