Our hardwood floodgates were put to the test as floodwater built up along the street.

With the gates closed, the row of protected properties was effectively defended against the surrounding floodwater, with only minimal water ingress observed despite the depth and flow outside.

How does a demountable flood barrier work? 🌊

Designed to provide protection when it’s needed, our demountable flood barrier systems can be assembled ahead of a flood event and removed once the risk has passed.

The side rails remain permanently installed, while the barrier panels are stored away until required. When flood protection is needed, the panels are simply assembled into position to create a temporary defence across the opening.

The panels will only need to be assembled when in risk of flooding but it is more common for our customers to get the permanently installed side rails powder coated.
