BEWARE!!! PLEASE SHARE!!! PLEASE READ!
So recently I’ve been getting a lot of calls from random guys asking to attend random jobs local offering silly call out money to myself so I have taken a couple turns out they have already charged customer £150 just to send and engineer and then we charge! Or £200 call out charged and split with company seems they are intercepting websites pretending to be big boiler companies main web pages so the customer believes they are talking to valiant Worcester ideal etc! And all they are doing is searching local engineers on google or similar most people are clued up to this but seems to be more vulnerable older folks that get suckered in I have blocked the numbers now as leaves me in horrible situations when I turn up and they have already forked out to some bloke sat in a chair! etc so just make family members aware most engineers will come take a look free charge £60/£80 for the hour not these silly rates use local google companies that come up or even safer just go on the official gas safe register for local engineers hopefully helps someone 🤷🏽♂️
