Chippy Energy The initiatives will help the town prepare for opportunities to be created by the Government’s new Green Deal programme later in 2012.

Transition Chipping Norton has won £55,000 from the Government’s Local Energy Assessment Fund to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy generation initiatives in the town this Spring. Under the Green Deal, households can benefit from energy efficiency measures to save on energy bills and to reduce carbon emissions without having to meet the high up-front costs.
