All our SureClad® facades are fully prefabricated as installation-ready panels at our ISO 9001 certified factories in Lancashire. This means that all cutting, precision undercut drilling, fitting of all anchors, and attachment of all SureClad® bracketry is carried out within our quality assured factory environment. We prefabricate the façade aligned to the installation schedule and every piece is numbered and quality checked before being dispatched to site in sequence order. This means that every panel is completely trackable and in accordance with the requirements of ISO TS 17870-3, no cutting, undercut drilling, or anchoring of panel attachment clips or straps is required on site.

To misquote a popular ad campaign, ‘This is not just any façade…it’s a Shackerley SureClad® façade.’

And it’s not the first time that our SureClad® system was chosen for one of the UK’s best known and well-loved retailers. At this store at the Merry Hill shopping centre, our SureClad® façade system was specified in a bright and reflective white porcelain stone by Whittam Cox Architects creating a clean, elegant and highly polished look. We prefabricated large format 3250 x1620 x12mm porcelain stone panels for the project, including 57 bespoke reveals. It delivered a lightweight, very large format, facade system that was ideal for the external facades of the M&S retail shell unit, within the main shopping centre building.

The cladding was fully prefabricated at our ISO 9001 certified factories and dispatched to site as an installation-ready facade in line with the installation schedule. It was installed using our fully anchored SureClad® Hang On system by Task Contract Services.

We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in this year’s The Tile Association Awards, in the ‘Best Commercial Project over 500m2’ category, for our Hertfordshire Police HQ project. 🎉

Designed by Vincent + Gorbing, this fantastic Willmott Dixon project for Hertfordshire Constabulary, has involved the manufacture of 8,900 porcelain façade panels at our ISO 9001 certified factories in Lancashire, installed by A2O Facades to create the 4016m2 façade.

Congratulations to all the companies and individuals shortlisted for these awards – we’re looking forward to finding out the names of the winners on 5th June.🙌

They know a thing or two about buildings that were made to last in Rome! 🏛️And about style and quality too. So our BrickClad® system fitted in perfectly when we took them to a Kingspan architects’ showcase in Rome recently.

Our Chairman Brian G. Newell MBE was joined by our Business Development Director, Fraser Brown, and National Business Development Manager, Lesley Cooper, at the event, which provided an ideal opportunity to talk to architects about the design, performance and versatility of our BrickClad® mechanically fixed brick cladding system. A great event, and another milestone in our long-standing partnership with Kingspan. 🙌

We’ve supplied our SureClad® façade system with three different materials – SureStone®, limestone and granite - for this prestigious project in London’s Oxford Street, as part of a £132 million refurbishment and roof top extension.

We’re supplying around 6000 façade pieces for the project, including a variety of bespoke details, such as:

💫 fins milled from a solid block of SureStone®

💫columns formed from several pieces of SureStone® bracketed and bonded together

💫mounted reveals, which have been mitred and bonded to provide a seamless look.

All panels and details are being fully prefabricated as fully anchored, installation-ready facade elements in our ISO 9001 certified factories. Manufacturing has been scheduled aligned to the installation programme and every piece will be quality checked and numbered prior to dispatch to site.
