🌙 Moonlight Mixer at Haigh Hall! 🌙

Join us this June for a special evening at the stunning Haigh Hall Woodland Park Courtyard for our Moonlight Mixer!

This is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring along friends and family for a relaxed summer evening together under the (hopefully!) moonlit skies.

👏 Employee of the Month 👏
A big congratulations to our Employee of the month for May, Danny!

Alongside his nomination, we also received some really positive feedback regarding Danny's work, at Ashton's Landgdate School.

Peter, Landgate's site manager, said: "He helped to finish the project in record time he worked tirelessly around all the contractors on the project". He went on to say Danny "is a credit to his company, I have liaised with many contractors over the last 20 years so I am not saying this lightly".

As a token of JJH's appreciation, Danny has received a voucher for Fielden Factors🪚🔨

We’re proud to have supported such a fantastic event raising vital funds for Wigan & Leigh Hospice💜

Congratulations to everyone involved, and going beyond the 400,000 Step Challenge, which raised an amazing £1,700 for the hospice. A huge well done to all participants, supporters, organisers, and fellow sponsors who helped make it such a success. Every step taken has helped make a real difference for patients and families in need.

We’re always happy to support initiatives that bring different corners of the borough together to give back in such a meaningful way👏

It’ll be great to speak to some potential future apprentices, 4pm-6pm.

Community support means so much more when people are willing to get involved properly!

Great to supply the wonderful Aspull Helping Hedgehogs group with branded high vis logos for their litter pick, and even better to get hands-on with grabbers and bin bags as well.

Alongside Aspull, New Springs & Whelley Labour Councillors, we helped clean up areas not just for the community, but for the hedgehogs that visit at night too. Rubbish like cans and tubes can be incredibly dangerous for them, so we kept an eye out for those in particular.

Tamsin, the group’s leader, also emphasised that if hedgehogs are seen during the day, they could be in trouble and should be taken to a rescue where possible🦔

This weekend, the Wigan Pub Walk is back for 2026, in aid of Wigan & Leigh Hospice, sponsored by Lee's Decorators Ltd! 💜

JJH staff will be taking on the 8 mile walk around Wigan, raising funds for an amazing cause which we continue to support throughout the year. Any donations through the link below would be hugely appreciated, and it all goes directly to the charity.
