What a night! 🐑🍻

We were delighted to sponsor last night’s Speed Shear with Dorrington Young Farmers, what a brilliant evening it was!

A huge well done to everyone involved in putting it together, and to all the shearers who took part.

It was great to see so many people there supporting the event, enjoying the BBQ, bar and plenty of competition!

Sonic drilling delivers some of the highest quality subsurface data available.
Unlike conventional drilling methods that can disturb, wash out or contaminate samples, sonic drilling uses high-frequency vibration to advance the core barrel through the ground with minimal disruption. The result is exceptional core recovery and highly representative samples across difficult ground conditions.

The continuous cores shown here demonstrate the advantage clearly:
•Higher recovery rates
•Cleaner and less disturbed samples
•Improved preservation of natural soil structure and moisture content
•Reduced cross-contamination between strata

For geologists, this means clearer stratigraphy, more accurate logging and greater confidence when interpreting subsurface conditions. Subtle changes in lithology, contamination horizons and groundwater conditions are easier to identify when the sample remains intact from recovery to laboratory.

Sonic drilling also reduces waste, minimises drilling fluids and performs efficiently in challenging formations where other methods can struggle.

Not long ago we were asked to save a job that previous Drillers had struggled with... Using our years of experience within the Exploration field we took on that challenge and completed the job successfully, leaving very happy customers.
