We're pleased to announce the expansion of Createc's long-standing partnership with Boston Dynamics.

Building on more than six years of successful collaboration, the new agreement sees Createc become an authorised reseller and technology provider of Boston Dynamics, further strengthening our shared commitment to deploying advanced mobile robotics in some of the world's most demanding industrial environments.

The agreement also grants Createc global authorisation to support the nuclear industry, reflecting our internationally recognised capabilities in nuclear robotics.

Will Newsom, Chief Executive of Createc, said, "We are proud to strengthen our relationship with Boston Dynamics, one of the world’s leading robotics companies, and to build on years of successful collaboration."

“Together, we have deployed Spot in complex environments where robotics can improve safety, reduce risk and gather critical data in places that are hazardous or difficult for people to access. This expanded partnership will help us bring those benefits to more organisations around the world, supporting Createc’s mission to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies and create a safer, more sustainable future.”

This summer, we are welcoming Billy John, who has joined us for a year in industry placement, and Danny Winterbottom, who is spending the summer with us as an intern.

Supporting upcoming talent is an important part of building the future of engineering and innovation. We're looking forward to helping Billy and Danny gain valuable experience, develop their skills and learn more about the opportunities available within the industry.

Welcome to Createc, Billy and Danny! 👋

Earlier this month, Createc's Nancy attended a careers event at the University of York, organised by the Faculties of Biology and PET (Physics, Engineering and Technology). 🗣️

Joining two other speakers from academia and public engagement, Nancy co-hosted a session titled "Research Culture and Citizenship" where she shared her experiences from industry and explored how volunteering, mentoring, networking and getting involved in events can shape your career in ways you may not immediately expect.

Nancy said, "Networking, participating in events, organising events and mentoring have been some of the aspects of my career that have brought me the most joy. You can never know in the present what the impact will be in the future, but looking back I can say that my network is the reason that I am now living happily in the UK, working at Createc. I wouldn't be the person I am today without my 'extracurricular' activities."

It's a great reminder that the experiences and connections we build outside our day-to-day roles can have a lasting impact on our careers and our lives, no matter what industry we are in.

Thank you to Catherine Taylor and Adam Featherstone for having Nancy along and for organising such an insightful session.

Last week we held a team lunch to celebrate our international workforce at Createc. 🌎

Some of our international colleagues shared their personal experiences of moving to the UK, what brought them here and why Createc has become a place they’re proud to call part of their journey.

We heard honest stories, interesting conversations and enjoyed a delicious spread of international food for all to try. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the different cultures, perspectives and experiences that make our teams who they are.

We're extremely proud to have built such a diverse international workforce tucked away in a small corner of the Lake District. 💚

A huge thank you to Nancy Bellingan, Alihan Pehlivan, Ahmet Celikezer, Jared Ambrose, and Odysseas Bouziotis for sharing their experiences and creating a fantastic platform for conversations.

As robotics, drones and autonomous systems continue to evolve, so too does the future of security.

In this insightful discussion at Security Journal UK Leaders in Security 2026, Createc's Rosie Richardson joins Morgan Ely to discuss how global conflict is accelerating innovation, and what organisations can learn from technologies being tested in real-world environments.

From the growing role of mobile robotic systems, to the challenges of governance, adoption and organisational readiness, the conversation highlights why staying ahead of emerging technologies is more important than ever.

Congratulations to our Senior Engineer, Joe Moore, who officially graduated earlier this week with a BSc in Computer Science from Northumbria University! 🎓

Balancing work and study is no small achievement, and we're incredibly proud of Joe for doing just that as he continued his degree while working with us.

His dedication to continually developing his knowledge and skills is a great example of the passion for learning and innovation that we value at Createc, and we as a business sponsored his third year of study to support his hard work.

Congratulations, Joe! We hope you had an amazing day celebrating your successes!

Good decisions start with real-time, accurate data. 📊

Our N-Visage Dose provides real-time dose rate information in a clear spatial context, helping teams understand radiation environments as they work, not afterwards.

Whether it's supporting planning, improving situational awareness or enhancing safety on site, N-Visage Dose is designed to deliver the information that matters, when it matters.

It's great to see the innovative robotics work taking place at Oldbury by Nuclear Restoration Services .

We're proud that, as part of ARCTEC – the delivery partnership between AtkinsRéalis and Createc – we are developing the robotic elements of the Auto-SAS system. This includes the integration of novel sensors, tray design, and the main control system that will enable the safe handling and sorting of complex radioactive waste.

Collaborative innovation like this is helping to make nuclear decommissioning safer, smarter and more efficient, and we're excited and proud to be playing our part.
