Boiler Breakdown? Here’s What to Do 🚨

There’s never a good time for a boiler breakdown. If you’ve ever found yourself without hot water in the middle of winter, you know how uncomfortable, and stressful, it can be. But before you panic, here’s what to do if your boiler goes on strike:

✅ Check the Pressure: Low water pressure is a common cause of boiler failure. Check the pressure gauge and, if it’s too low, try to re-pressurise it (your boiler manual will show you how).
✅ Check for Error Codes: Many modern boilers will show an error code on the display. Write it down and call your heating engineer for advice.
✅ Check the Thermostat: Make sure your thermostat is set to the correct temperature and that it hasn’t been accidentally turned off.

Another big step forward on this renovation project, and all done in just two days 👏🏻

Sam and Will smashed through a full back boiler upgrade, demoed and fully retiled the bathroom, re-ran all hot and cold feeds from the stop tap, first-fixed the heating system and the bathroom, fitted a new stack and wastes, patched up inside and out, and ran a brand-new gas supply from the meter with a cooker feed.

If they start moving any faster, we’ll need speed cameras on site! 😄🔥👏

🔥 Boiler Upgrade Complete 🔥

We’ve just completed a full upgrade from an old back boiler system to a modern, efficient Baxi Assure 500 combi, along with new radiators to bring the whole heating setup up to today’s standards.

Massive well done to Jak, George and Fin for delivering a smooth, professional install. The customer was over the moon… not just with the heating, but with how spotless the place was afterwards.

In fact, they reckoned the lads left the house cleaner than they found it… so if the heating game ever slows down, it looks like we’ve accidentally trained a trio of expert cleaners too! 😄🧼
