Rotary Insulation Services are a commercial insulation installer operating out of Coggeshall, Essex. We work across the UK but predominantly in the Southeast.
We work on a variety of construction projects including schools, hospitals and residential blocks installing commercial insulation products to pipework & ductwork.
WHAT IS A THERMAL INSULATION ENGINEER & WHAT DO THEY DO?
Working on construction sites, Thermal Insulation Engineers are responsible for installing specialist insulation materials to pipework, ductwork, vessels etc to conserve energy by keeping heat in or out.
Day to Day tasks include;
Planning insulation: Interpret drawings and specification, identify pipework/ductwork, liaising with mechanical contractor.
Preparation: Clearing areas to be insulated, including removal of existing insulation if needed. Setting up access equipment as required.
Installation: Measuring, cutting & shaping insulation materials with correct tools and applying to pipework, ductwork, vessels etc. Fastening insulation utilising tape, clips, sprays, adhesives bands etc.
Application of finishes such as metal cladding & weather-proof coverings. Installation of boxes/lined bags to valves & flanges. Application of trace heating tape prior to insulation.
Clearing and Inspection: Clean-up the work area after installing the insulation. Liaise with mechanical contractor once finished.

Full time permanent position
Working hours on site typically from 8am-3pm Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work available
20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to max 25 days)
