Some recent workshop activity here. A bit of a bespoke job for a customer including signals, a control system and custom 3D printed parts. Some elements of which may become added onto the product list of items available here at RICE RAIL.

Some recent activity in the workshop.

- Work continues on the prototype tamper. Here we are assembling the “head” of the tamper. The business end.

- Lister loco side weights. These are avaliable as part of our kit designed by Colin Edmondson. Avaliable from CMD Engineering. This particular side weight is destined for our very own loco.

Heres a little teaser of something developing in the workshop.

We are working on exspanding what is currently offered for the stumpy locomotive deisgned by Colin Edmondson.

Here you can see we are making good use of laser cutting technology to product a chassis kit. This is the initial cut showing most of the parts, as well as some parts from the existing kit already available from CMD Engineering
