SKILLED CARPENTER WANTED
The Cartlodge Company is looking to expand our team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oak Framing Carpenter to join our dedicated team. You will be instrumental in crafting and assembling beautiful, structural oak frames using both time-honored techniques and modern methods.

Key Responsibilities:
• Constructing and assembling traditional and contemporary oak frames for various projects.
• Implementing both hand-cut and machine-cut joinery techniques.
• Working with various timber materials, including structural oak beams.
• Operating and maintaining workshop machinery (e.g., planers, band saws) safely and efficiently.
• Participating in site installation and assembly of frames.
• Collaborating with the Managing Director, customers and site teams.

What we are Looking for:
• Proven experience in carpentry.
• Expertise in traditional and modern joinery methods.
• Proficiency with hand tools and woodworking machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• A passion for working with natural materials and traditional buildings methods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving license and living within 25 miles of CO10.
