This is a large-scale social housing development for and every one of those 20 homes is now a step closer to net zero. Real renewable energy. Real carbon reduction. For families that need it most.

Phase 2 is next — inverters going in, and then this site comes to life.

More of this in 2026. That's the goal.

Here's our latest completed project — a SigenEnergy solar and battery storage system installed on a brand new home, built to work smarter from day one.

The system includes:
⚡ SigenErgy 3.6kW Inverter
🔋 10kW Battery Storage

This home is equipped with an air source heat pump, which is a highly efficient heating solution but can draw considerable electricity. Another Starlink install completed in Mount Juliet Estate.

That’s three we’ve done in the area now — and it’s becoming a common solution for homes where the existing internet just isn’t up to standard.

What we’re seeing more of is clients needing a connection that can actually keep up — not just for streaming, but for working from home and running full home automation systems without interruption.

In the right setup, Starlink does exactly that.
Simple install, solid performance, and a noticeable upgrade from what was there before.

A great few days at Design Source Ireland this week.

I had the opportunity to speak in the Learn Lounge about “The Invisible Systems Behind Great Interior Design” — explaining how automation can simplify complex homes while protecting the designer’s vision.

It was my first time doing a talk like this, so I was a bit unsure how it would go, but the feedback and conversations afterwards made it all worthwhile.

Design Source has always been a great community and I’ve been lucky to be involved for a long time, exhibiting and working behind the scenes. So it was a real privilege to be asked to speak 💛

Back at Design Source Ireland

Really grateful to be part of Design Source Ireland at the RDS on the 5th & 6th of February again this year.

It’s always a brilliant couple of days connecting with architects, interior designers and industry leaders — and this year there’s something new… the Learning Lounge.

Happy New Year Everyone 🎆

Today we have completed our first control panel of the new year. Finally caught the cold so it was great to have this to fall back on today (not that we dont have a million other things to do)

This panel has been

✅️ Pre-power up checks completed

✅️ Powered up

✅️ Devices assigned in config

✅️ Area setup configured in config (pre-site)

✅️ Pre-commissioning completed with configuration

✅️ Ready to be packed up and delivered

Really looking forward to seeing this job come alive. This one is top secret 🤫 only my wife knows about it 🤭
