It’s with great sadness that we learned about the passing of a devoted member of our haulage team and a good friend Dean McKnight.
Dean was the most punctual person we ever met and you could have set your watch by him, he give it 100% every day and was one of life’s best.
Dean you will be truly missed by everyone at Hutchinsons feeds!💙🚛💔

This weekend, some of the team headed to the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn for Drifterstyle Truckshow 2026! Our Scania T164 and Volvo FH16 were on display alongside some exciting new additions to our fleet 👀!

There was an absolutely awesome line up of trucks from across Ireland, the UK and Europe, making it a fantastic event for any truck enthusiast!

A huge well done to everyone involved in putting on such a brilliant show and If you’re into trucks, make sure you get this one in the diary for next year! 💪🚛

Today Marty tells us about a piece of equipment which thankfully isn't needed very often but is essential to have in our fleet!

Our Vac-Pac pairs up with specially designed trailer L19 to assist when things just haven't went to plan. Whether feed has ended up in the wrong bin or a truck has got into difficulty along the road the Vac-Pac can be used to suck meal up into L19 so it can be transported to where it needs to be!

If you're in a pickle and require our industrial vacuum please get in touch with the office to see how we can help!

Sometimes, the trip to the mill is about a bit more than just collecting feed! 🐄😄

Farming can be a lonely occupation at times, so here at Hutchinsons, we love nothing more than catching up with our customers, having a laugh and enjoying a good chat when they call into the mill.

Because the bit of craic is just as important as the feed! 🌾

No, this isn’t an oversized Coke can on wheels! 🥤😂 This is one of our tractor drawn blower trailers! 🚜💨

Having this in our fleet means our local customers can collect their feed, even when it’s destined for a meal bin.

Just another way we’re making things easier for our customers and giving you more options when it comes to getting your feed where it needs to go! 🐄🌾
