The bronze part on the left is the customers original part that had stripped the acme thread in the centre. The OEM indicated 7-8 weeks lead time to replace as well as an astronomical cost. The part on the right was drawn programmed and machined by us. The original part is mainly cast with minor machining required to finish it. Ours was machined from a solid billet of bronze. Both ourselves and the customer were very pleased with the results.
