We completed this garden to driveway transformation for a new tarmac surface to create off street parking.

Our team carried out;
✔️ Existing garden wall and fencing removal
✔️ Excavation of soil and concrete
✔️ Installation of new fence & edging lines
✔️ Laying of hardcore to create a strong base ready for tarmac

We sourced all materials and took care of the waste removal so the client didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Really enjoyed working on this project 👌

After 4–5 years focused mainly on residential builds, it was a nice change to work on this steel frame structure for a plastic recycling plant.

Our scope of work included:
• Local grid survey
• Overlay and rotation of steel centres into correct position using AutoCAD
• Foundation setting out
• Installation of bolt boxes

The client had their own groundworks team for excavation and concrete works, but this is also a service we can provide as part of a full package.

We recently took on a challenging job with short notice that required an immediate start to meet a tight deadline, we tackled a variety of tasks and ensured it was completed on time and to a high standard.

Here’s what we accomplished:

- Installed a durable gravel board fence for added privacy and aesthetics.
- Concreted a trench where essential services had been installed.
- Prepared driveway for tar installation, including setting edging kerbs, manhole and Aco drainage.

We installed some additional land drains in the rear garden of this property as the water wasn’t percolating fast enough when raining which created wet patches in these areas..

Some factors that could be the result of soil not percolating fast enough:

- Poor soil that has a high clay content
- Trafficked soil which causes compaction = less space for water to pass through
- Insufficient/ blocked land drainage
- Land topography
