Removing a pesky budlia growing from a roof that was disturbing the brick work and allowing water ingress, we deconstructed the brick work down until we could fully remove the roots of the trees, rebuilt and repointed on the last few sunny days of the year. ✅

Double chimney breast removal first and ground floor, front and rear + house renovation, rewire and kitchen install. (Kitchen pics coming soon)

We pulled together on this job and got 2 Chimney breasts removed in 2 days including implementing gallows.

We then went on to fire board, dab and plaster + instate additional sockets and lighting.

We then went on to swap the door way for the first floor cupboard from one wall to another, install 3x radiators, new flooring, new doors, new skirting and a new kitchen.

Kitchen + extended utility fit. 🔨🐦‍⬛

Lovely looking handle-less kitchen from Howdens installed in kenilworth across a series of weeks whilst other work was going on, was nice to have this as a little side job to jump on and off when I could.

We were responsible for carrying out/organising all works including:
- New plumbing for Kitchen and Bathroom including the installation of an electric shower. ✅
- Re-Wire including new board. ✅
- New kitchen including integrated appliances. ✅
- New additions to the Bathroom. ✅
- Over-boarded ceiling and all plastering. ✅
- New laminate flooring including underfloor heating. ✅
- New skirting. ✅
- Fitted bedroom sliding wardrobes. ✅
- New windows and fire doors. ✅

Howdens fit finished the other week, all works carried out include:

-Full rip out and wast management. ✅
-Electrical alterations including lighting. ✅
-Cavity wall installation + plastering and boarding. ✅
-Basic plumbing in preparation for sink + utilities. ✅
-Full kitchen installation including custom bridging unit and custom built pantry wall unit. ✅

Lovely customer, great hospitality every day plate of biscuits and cups of tea. Can’t thank them enough for giving us the opportunity to create their dream kitchen!

The bathroom supplier said it couldn’t be done!
He said the old bath won’t come out without removing and re-tiling around the bath… Not only did we remove the bath without any damage to the rest of the bathroom, we also installed the new bath without any issues. Bish, bash, bosh!

Some worktops done on a property in Hinckley for a contractor I do some subbing for, Belfast sink, both bolted and biscuited.

+ fighting with the challenge of working with 2 male ends on one length of worktop due to a mess up with the sizes. Made it work, saved the contractor buying another £300 piece of worktop and still did a great looking job for the customer, everyone’s happy!

We’ve finished off 2024 with a great little kitchen renovation in Leamington!

Old kitchen ceilings and flooring ripped out ✅

New floating ceiling frame installed with 200mm of insulation ✅

Heated flooring mats installed and self levelled ✅

New electrics and plumbing ✅

Walls dabbed browned and plastered ✅

Oak effect herringbone LVT installed ✅

New howdens shaker style kitchen complete with integrated fridge + dishwasher, custom integrated washing machine and solid oak block board worktops complete with routered Belfast sink and drainer grooves. ✅

Moreton Morrell College allowed Sam to continue his apprenticeship despite switching courses from joinery to carpentry, and moving to a different employer.
