The team at JLN has just wrapped up another fantastic Grant UK Pro heat pump installation. This wasn’t just a simple equipment swap—it was a comprehensive, full-system upgrade including brand-new pipework and radiators throughout.
Every project comes with its own set of challenges, and this one was no exception:

The Property: Solid walls with absolutely no insulation.
The Hurdle: A significantly high heat loss calculation that might make some installers hesitate.
The Secret Weapon: Accurate, data-driven design.

Despite the high heat loss, the specification process was seamless. By leveraging the awesome Spruce.eco software, we were able to model the property precisely and design a system guaranteed to keep the home perfectly cozy and highly efficient, even in the dead of winter.

Proof that with the right tech and the right team, heat pumps can thrive in almost any property type.

This is the kind of pride and attention to detail our engineers have in their work. Just went to commission a Vaillant UK, Heat Geek Zero-Disrupt heat pump install, where the customer was concerned about how the condensate drain pipe would look against the new render. Our guys have painted the screws with some radiator touch up paint they had on the van!!

Not because we told them to, not because they have to, just because they wanted to!!
