Comfort at home. Quality in every detail.

One of our residential teams has delivered this Daikin air conditioning installation, bringing discreet climate control to the bedrooms and living space, with a clean finish inside and out.
White wall-mounted units complement the interior, while neatly routed external pipework keeps the installation tidy.

We bring the same commitment to quality to our residential installations as we do to our commercial projects. From initial consultation through to installation and ongoing maintenance, our teams support homeowners at every stage.

This year has brought its challenges, particularly with the scale and complexity of the projects we currently have under way.

However, through the continued hard work and dedication of the entire Sub-Cool FM team, we’re pleased to have been shortlisted for two awards at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards
2026:

• Cooling Project of the Year - Snaresbrook Crown Court
• Small Company Achievement of the Year - Snaresbrook Crown Court

We’re grateful to have been recognised alongside so many respected businesses within the industry and look forward to attending the awards evening on the 24th. Hopefully, we’ll
have some good news to share on the night.

A slightly different install for this team

We recently installed a Mitsubishi Electric PSA-RP140KA floor-standing system inside a tipi at a local nursery, giving them a reliable way to keep the space comfortable throughout the year.

A great example of how air conditioning can be adapted to suit unusual spaces and applications.

And of course, no installation is complete without the on-site Health & Safety Donkey carrying out the final inspection. 🫏✅

Another one completed by the Sub-Cool FM team.

What are the benefits of air conditioning besides keeping you cool during a heatwave? ❄️🏠

For this residential installation, we installed 5 Daikin Stylish units in white, giving the property complete control over comfort throughout the home.

Modern air conditioning is about far more than just summer cooling. A system like this can provide:

🔥 Efficient heating during the colder months
💧 Humidity control for a more comfortable indoor environment
🌬️ Improved air circulation and filtration
🌡️ Consistent temperatures throughout the year
🏠 Individual room control – only heat or cool the spaces you’re using
🤫 Quiet operation, making it ideal for bedrooms and living areas

With the Daikin Stylish, you get all of that without compromising the look of the room. The slim white finish blends neatly into the property while delivering year-round comfort.

Air conditioning isn’t just for heatwaves – it’s a complete heating and cooling solution for your home.

Where would we recommend a floor-mounted air conditioning unit? 🤔

Rooms with sloped ceilings or limited high-level wall space are a perfect example. For this residential installation, a traditional wall-mounted unit wouldn’t have suited the room, so we installed a Mitsubishi Electric floor-mounted system instead.

It fits neatly beneath the sloped ceiling and provides efficient heating and cooling throughout the year. Our engineers also ensured the external pipework was carefully installed to blend in with the property’s existing finish.

A practical solution with a clean, professional result.

Another Daikin Stylish installation completed.

This install features Daikin’s new grey fabric-effect finish with a black body, alongside white Stylish units throughout the property.

A premium heating and cooling solution suitable for both residential properties and commercial spaces.

Wall mounted and floor mounted air conditioning units both have their place.

Wall mounted units are a popular choice for many rooms, while floor mounted units can be a great option where wall space is limited or the layout of the room calls for a different solution.

The right choice comes down to the space, the style of the room and how the system will be used day to day.

The outdoor unit position matters more than most people realise.

For a home air conditioning system to work properly, the outdoor unit needs good airflow, suitable access for maintenance, and a position that keeps noise and appearance in mind.

That’s why every Sub-Cool FM survey looks at the full layout of the property, not just where the indoor unit is going.

Lovely to be featured in ACR News, one of the HVAC industry’s leading news outlets.

We had the opportunity to discuss the future of HVAC, refrigerants, innovation, and where the industry is heading with three of the biggest manufacturers: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic.

A big thank you to ACR News for the feature.
