Reducing packaging isn’t a gesture – it’s a continuous effort beyond 2026.
In packaging and logistics, less really is more: every unnecessary layer of single-use material becomes someone else’s responsibility to deal with. So, we’re rethinking every layer – and removing what isn’t needed.
As a result, we are progressively transitioning to transparent LDPE “poly bags” across all production sites. This single-layer material is fully recyclable and clearly labelled to support correct recycling ♻️
Across our global sites, trials showed we could cut pallet stretch film by up to 40% – simply by optimising wrapper settings and testing the minimum thickness needed for secure transport.
We are also reducing cardboard and plastic packaging usage in our internal supply chain. For example, we are replacing large cartons with reusable, stackable grid frame boxes – improving truck utilisation 🚛
These small, practical steps are delivering hundreds of tonnes of annual packaging savings while simplifying processes and reducing waste across our global operations. With the EU's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) redefining expectations around recyclability and material reduction, steps like these are becoming the baseline – but for us, they our longer-standing commitment to using recyclable packaging with a high proportion of recycled content📦
