The latest issue of Farmers Guide features insights from Tornado Wire CEO Rebecca Galley, who reflects on the continued success of the Tornado Wire Fencing Competition.

Showcasing the very best in fencing skill and innovation, the competition took place at this year's NSA Sheep Event, bringing together some of the UK's top professional fencing contractors. In a closely fought contest enjoyed by competitors and spectators alike, four teams finished within the same minute after just 2 hours and 52 minutes of fencing.

Following an incredibly tense finish, John Morgan and Si Gibbs were crowned champions of the 2026 Tornado Wire Fencing Competition.

In 2001, Tornado Wire was recognised as an Investor in People, this was followed by the expansion of our Millom production facility in 2002.

Then in 2003, we installed our second Titan net machine and welcomed HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to open the Tornado factory extension.
