Late night emergency call-out in Croydon 🌙
Last night I was called out to a local chicken shop after a manhole started overflowing with a thick build-up of fat, oil and grease.
Once I lifted the covers, I found the real cause of the problem. The manhole covers weren’t properly sealed, allowing debris to fall into the chamber and contribute to the blockage.
Using the high-pressure jetter, I thoroughly cleaned the drainage lines, cleared the blockage, and then washed down the surrounding area, leaving everything clean, safe and back in working order.
For takeaways, restaurants and commercial kitchens, grease build-up can quickly turn into an emergency if it’s left unchecked. Regular maintenance can help avoid disruption and costly call-outs.
