This boiler was meant to have been serviced 8 months ago by the installer.
The boiler was installed no more than 4 years ago. The system has clearly never been flushed.
The home owner is in her mid 80s!
If this filter wasn’t installed the plate would have be completely clogged by now.
Frustrating to see.

As painful as this is going to be for many people over the next couple of weeks,
Sounds like this lock down has to be done to help protect friends, family and loved ones.
I have cancelled all non essential works for the foreseeable future but will still be available for emergency works including Boiler breakdowns, leaks and so on.
