Kitchen sink and taps replaced in Lagmore today to finish up the week

My van started playing up at the end of last week so it’s been left with Ford since Monday and I’ve been working out of temporary van all week.

Safe to say I’m glad to get finished without having to let any of my customers down!

Couple of days rest and back at it again Monday 💪🏻

Call out in Oldpark for intermittent hot water on this Worcester Greenstar 30i

Due to lack of servicing and the magnetic system filter not being cleaned out the plate heat exchanger ended up blocked solid causing the hot water to go cold intermittently

Full strip down service and new plate heat exchanger fitted

Cheaper and safer to just get your boilers serviced annually 👍🏻

Emergency call repaired last night

Grand kids pulled the floating vanity unit away from the wall when washing their hands and customer thought he would have a go at securing it back to the wall and manger to drill through not one but two plumbing pipes

Very little room to work as I didn’t want to expose the pipes outside of the vanity area so they were visible

Full heating update in Crumlin 👌🏻

Existing solid fuel system with only 2x radiators updated to oil

4x new efficient radiators and pipework in place for a towel rail pending a new bathroom

Bare copper cylinder replaced with efficient foam lagged cylinder with internal immersion heater

Ignored drip from boiler resulted in a weekend without it and an also potentially dangerous boiler

Boiler had been dripping for a few weeks and dropping pressure before it eventually packed in

The expansion vessel had split with a steady flow of water spilling out with the pressure was tipped up. This ongoing leak resulted in water sitting on the bottom of the boiler on the gas pipe slowly corroding it. Luckily the boiler casing didn’t rust and the gas pipe could be replaced

Ended up being two trips to the suppliers. After replacing the expansion vessel and gas pipe the copper pressure gauge tubing snapped so that had to be swapped out as well

Service/repair in Lagmore on this Ideal Logic that was cutting out intermittently to L2 F2 faults

Full service and new electrodes and it’s as good as new 👌🏻
