Filter It Out was founded by Hywel Phillips. A service engineer with over 20 years experience working with, installing and supplying water systems for farms, caravan parks, golf courses, commercial and domestic settings. Hywel set up the business in 2012 after the previous company he worked for folded and he saw enough of a call for his line of work to go it alone. However, 3 years into the business Filter It Out suffered a major blow and almost lost everything Hywel had built due to a fire at an adjoining unit to the business. With the help and support of family, friends and customers, Hywel rebuilt Filter It Out into the expanding business it is today.
Filter It Out has gone from strength to strength with Hywel designing and adapting machinery and equipment to make light work of new installations and services. Recently Hywel has had to take on staff to help with the workload and the ever increasing demand for his services. Hywel continues to gain recognition for his professional and practical work that his 20+ years has given him by being a finalist at the Pembrokeshire Business Awards 2018, Winning a Pembrokeshire Business Award 2019 and more recently Winning FSB Sole Trader of the Year (Wales) 2020.
