We managed to get the three huge 1600mm x 940mm electrically operated Velux windows in, working in between the rain showers. First fix electrics are all in place. Started plaster boarding so it’s starting to look like a room now.

Block work finished and the back wall ready to be rendered. Stonework now complete and the inside has had a tidy. Bank Holiday weekend off and then full steam ahead on Tuesday.

Block work all up, just the gable end cuts and a small area on the side wall to do in stone tomorrow.

Another day on my own, some stonework, started roof and a visit from the building inspector. He’s ok with everything, an old guy from the next village came up to help me lift the 5.4m x 250mm x 100mm ridge up. Hopefully back to a full team next week. .
