Woofenden Construction is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kentisbeare, Devon.
We are looking for someone who is organised, confident with numbers, keen to learn and has a great eye for detail.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real hands on experience across live construction projects, working alongside experienced professionals who will support your development from day one.
In this role, you will get involved with:
🔨 Project cost estimates and budgets
📏 Measuring and valuing works
📦 Subcontractor and material procurement
📋 Purchase orders and subcontractor packages
💷 Monitoring project costs
🧾 Valuations, variations and final accounts
🏗️ Site visits and project meetings
We are looking for someone who is:
✅ Keen to build a career in construction
✅ Confident working with figures
✅ Organised with great attention to detail
✅ A good communicator
✅ Positive, hardworking and willing to learn
✅ Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
A background in construction, Quantity Surveying, T Levels, BTEC, A Levels or a related degree would be great, but it is not essential. The right attitude matters most.
