We are looking for a HGV Mechanic to join our team.

This includes working on our own trucks and other customer vehicles out of our yard in Hithcock's business park EX15 3FX

Our mechanics work shifts, 6-15.00 week 1 and 9.30-18.30 week 2 with every other Saturday 6-12.

Main roles will include:
Regular maintenance and repair of our/customer vehicles,
MOT preperation,
Fault diagnosis,
Occasional roadside assistance
Good communication, with drivers & management

We are looking for somebody who is honest & reliable. Somebody that can work on their own and work as part of a team. Someone that can use their initiative to get jobs completed.

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody to join our wonderful S&G team.

We are looking for somebody that fits in well with our current team. You will need to be friendly, polite, honest, passionate, a good team player and take pride in your work.

This position is a tramping position and will be Monday-Friday and one Saturday per month. This will be a variety of flatbed, curtain-side and fridge work.

We are looking for somebody that has Class 1 experience, somebody that is flexible with the work they are doing, as no week looks the same here, organised chaos (I like to call it 😂)

At S&G our whole team have very high standards regarding the cleanliness of their vehicles, inside and out. We hope our next employee follows on too. We enjoy a truck show or two! We hope that our employees feel like part of our family and not just ‘another number’ when they are working for us.

It goes without saying you will need to hold a Class 1 license and an up-to-date CPC card.

We are based in Hitchcock’s business park, Uffculme, Devon.
