Another fire doorset replacement completed by the TS-UK team.

The existing glazed door assembly was carefully removed and replaced with a new timber fire doorset, complete with a new frame, stainless-steel ironmongery, kick plate and ABLOY EL560 electromechanical locking integrated with the access-control system.

From removal and perimeter sealing through to the final fit and finish, the project brought the fire door, controlled access and security requirements together in one coordinated installation.

Back to our roots — electro-mechanical locking.

TS-UK has always had strong experience in specialist locking solutions, and this recent installation is a good example of the type of work we know well.

Our team fitted electro-mechanical locking hardware designed to provide secure control while still maintaining safe escape from the building.

When working on escape routes, it is essential that the correct hardware is selected, installed and maintained.

Security is important, but emergency escape must never be compromised.

That is why standards such as BS EN 179 and BS EN 1125 are so important when specifying exit and escape hardware.
• BS EN 179 applies to emergency exit devices operated by a lever handle or push pad

Another completed project by TS-UK.
With the school holidays underway, TS-UK has been busy getting on with essential works, making the most of quieter periods to carry out improvements with minimal disruption.

Another completed lifecycle replacement project by TS-UK.
