Rail/Plant/HGV Service Co ordinator – Key Accounts
About Us

Our Key Accounts Department plays a critical role in ensuring that fleets are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
We are now seeking a Service Co ordinator to join our Key Accounts team. This pivotal role ensures that maintenance and repair activities are scheduled, resourced, and delivered effectively, while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.
The Role
As Service Co ordinator, you will:
Manage the scheduling and coordination of planned and reactive maintenance activities
Allocate technicians, tools, and parts to optimise productivity and minimise downtime
Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, providing clear updates and ensuring service satisfaction
Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records in Syrinx
Track and analyse KPIs to drive continuous improvement and support departmental profitability
Provide leadership and mentorship to technicians, apprentices, and support staff, fostering collaboration and professional development
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in service coordination, fleet management, or engineering support
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead with empathy while maintaining accountability
Knowledge of compliance standards, maintenance planning, and job closure processes
Proficiency in systems such as Syrinx, Excel, and scheduling platforms
A collaborative, structured approach with a commitment to fairness, safety, and continuous improvement
