Our customer wanted these parts galvanised, but sending them to the plating plant with the existing coating still in place would have meant an additional 25% stripping charge.

So we handled it in-house.

✅ Prepared ready for galvanising
✅ Customer avoids the additional stripping cost
✅ Faster, more cost-effective route to the finished product

A few weeks ago, I posted the prototype.

Here’s what happens next. 👇

Last week we shared these bolts fresh back from chrome plating, waiting for their 180° Tuflok® patch.

Today, the prototypes are complete and on their way for customer sample approval.

But they’re not travelling alone…

Alongside them are 10,000 production pieces, finished in Geomet® 321A with the same 180° Tuflok® locking patch, ready to follow once approval is signed off.
